- Name and Contact Data: We collect your first and last name, email address, home address and home information used for service qualification (shade report, avg electric bill payment, etc), postal code, phone number, and other similar contact data when submitted.
- Payment Information: We collect payment information only when accepting payment via credit card or for installment based payments. Payment information will be stored securely on our end and safely deleted when payments are fully processed.

Information collected from other sources
In some circumstances, we may obtain information about you from sources outside the Company, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms (such as Facebook), as well as from other third parties. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, for your safety, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How Long We Keep Your Information
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as contractual obligation, tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us to keep your personal information for longer than 2 years or the length of a contract you sign with us. When we no longer have business use for your information, we will delete it or anonymize it, or, if this is impossible (due to backup databases, etc), then we will securely store your personal information securely and prevent it from being utilized for any activities until it can be deleted.
For comments on our site, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Regarding the Personal Information of Minors
We do not knowingly solicit information from any users under the age of 18. By submitting any information, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are the parent/ guardian of a minor and consent to the minor’s submittal of information. If we become aware of data from minors being collected, we will promptly delete such data from our records. Regarding the Personal Information of California/EU Residents
Recent bills have granted extra data protections to users in California and the European Union. As we do not do business in either of these territories, we do not knowingly solicit information from residents of these areas, and as such, all data collected from them will not be stored or used, and will be anonymized and deleted as soon as possible for compliance reasons.
